Master Nav is a set of marine learning apps developed by a Master Mariner with 30 years of seagoing experience. The COLREGS and IALA regulations are notoriously difficult to learn and retain — these apps make it significantly easier.
Instead of guessing through random question banks, the learning apps guide you step by step through every rule from start to finish. Complex regulations are broken down into learnable chunks — supported by mnemonics, memory aids and interactive visuals designed around how your brain actually retains information. Wrong answers are revisited until the rules stick — properly.
Master Nav is a long term project created and maintained by a single developer. It is not built to make money. The small fee for the learning apps helps cover unavoidable running costs such as developer programme fees, hosting and basic admin. The test app is completely free.
